The Odisha government is set to inaugurate 49 completed road infrastructure projects with a combined investment of ₹1,721 crore, marking a significant milestone in the state's efforts to strengthen connectivity and transportation networks.
In addition to dedicating the completed projects to the public, the state will also launch work on 47 new road projects worth ₹12,102 crore. The upcoming projects are aimed at enhancing road infrastructure, improving regional connectivity, and supporting economic development across Odisha.
The new investments form part of the state's broader infrastructure development agenda, which focuses on expanding and modernising the road network to facilitate smoother movement of people and goods.
Officials said the projects are expected to boost connectivity between urban and rural areas, improve access to key economic hubs, and contribute to the state's long-term growth objectives.
