Odisha Govt Signs MoUs for ₹16.73 Lakh Crore Investments at Utkarsh Odisha 2025.
The Utkarsh Odisha-Make in Odisha Conclave 2025, the Odisha government's flagship investment summit, has attracted investment commitments worth ₹16.73 lakh crore across key sectors, including chemicals & petrochemicals, textiles, mining, metallurgy, renewable energy, IT/ITeS, tourism, and food processing.
Held on January 28-29, the event saw participation from 5,000 industry representatives from India and abroad, leading to the signing of MoUs for large-scale investments. Additionally, the state government received 448 investment intention forms worth ₹3.84 lakh crore, with the potential to generate 3.92 lakh jobs, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced.
Delegates from over 16 countries, including partner nations Singapore, Malaysia, and Australia, attended the conclave, reinforcing Odisha’s appeal as a global investment hub.
The event featured sector-specific sessions on textiles, renewable energy, women entrepreneurship, industrial infrastructure, tourism, and healthcare, providing actionable insights for business expansion.
A start-up and industrial expo, which drew significant interest from students and industry professionals, has been extended by the Chief Minister until January 31 to accommodate more visitors.
