Odisha Gears Up to Attract Global Investors at Utkarsh Odisha Conclave 2025.

Odisha is gearing up to attract global and domestic investors at the two-day Utkarsh Odisha – Make in Odisha Conclave 2025, starting January 28 in Bhubaneswar. The flagship business event, set to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Janata Maidan, will spotlight three key themes: Start-Up Odisha, Skilled in Odisha, and Women Entrepreneurship.

Sampad Chandra Swain, Odisha's Minister of Industries and Skill Development & Technical Education, highlighted the conclave’s ambition to position the state as a global industrial hub. "This is not just an investment summit but a transformative journey. Odisha is ready to lead India’s industrial revolution, welcoming industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators to explore its immense potential,” Swain said.

The conclave aligns with the vision of Samrudh Odisha 2036 and supports India’s goal of Viksit Bharat 2047. It aims to underline Odisha’s pivotal role in India’s industrial growth, featuring over 7,500 registered industry delegates, including 100+ international delegates and diplomats from 20 countries.

Singapore, Australia, and Malaysia will lead collaborations, with delegations from Vietnam, Zimbabwe, Kazakhstan, Venezuela, the UK, the US, Nepal, and others contributing to discussions. High-profile business leaders such as Lakshmi Niwas Mittal, Kumar Mangalam Birla, Anil Agarwal, Sajjan Jindal, and Karan Adani, along with Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Jual Oram, and Ashwini Vaishnaw, are set to attend.

The event will spotlight sectors like technical textiles, downstream petrochemicals, specialty metals, film and media, renewable energy, green fuels, and the circular economy, reflecting Odisha’s commitment to sustainable development and global partnerships.

Cultural showcases will enrich the experience, featuring performances by the Odisha Dance Academy and a medley by the Culture Department. The evenings will culminate in a spectacular drone show, blending tradition with technology.

The Make in Odisha Expo, hosting nearly 150 exhibitors, will highlight innovative products and solutions. While exclusive to delegates during the conclave, the expo will open to the public on January 30.

With a focus on innovation, sustainability, and inclusivity, the conclave underscores Odisha’s readiness to lead India’s industrial transformation on the global stage.
