Odisha Attracts ₹48,330 Crore Investment Commitments at Gujarat Outreach Event
The Odisha government secured investment intentions worth ₹48,330 crore during its maiden three-day investment outreach visit to Gujarat, as the state intensified efforts to attract industrial projects across multiple sectors.
The delegation, led by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, held investor meetings in Ahmedabad, Mundra and Vadodara. During the visit, the state signed eight Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and received 63 investment intention forms from companies planning to invest in Odisha, according to an official statement issued recently.
Officials said the proposed investments are expected to generate more than 67,800 jobs in the state. However, details regarding the participating companies and the sector-wise breakup of investments were not disclosed.
