NTPC Green Energy Ltd Signs MoU With Paradip Port Authority to Explore Green Hydrogen Collaboration and Mobility Projects.

NTPC Green Energy Limited, a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Paradip Port Authority on October 27, 2025, during India Maritime Week 2025 in Mumbai. The MoU was exchanged in the presence of Odisha Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi.

The agreement aims to collaborate on implementing green hydrogen-based mobility projects within the Paradip Port area and to explore opportunities for deploying projects related to green hydrogen and its derivatives. This partnership aligns with the broader national push toward clean energy and sustainable maritime operations, aiming to reduce carbon footprints and promote the development of a green hydrogen ecosystem.

The collaboration marks a significant step forward in advancing green energy initiatives within the maritime sector, leveraging Paradip Port’s strategic location and infrastructure.
