NPSPL Speciality Chemicals to Establish Cathode Material Unit in Andhra Pradesh.

NPSPL Speciality Chemicals Private Limited is set to establish a cathode material manufacturing facility in Gudupalle mandal near Kuppam in Andhra Pradesh, with a proposed investment of ₹2,550 crore.

The project has received approval from the Government of Andhra Pradesh, which has also allocated 105 acres of land to the Kolkata-based company for the development. The facility is expected to generate around 400 jobs in the region.

As part of the agreement, the state government will extend incentives under its Electronics Component Manufacturing Policy. These include a 60 per cent capital subsidy and a power cost reimbursement of ₹2 per unit for a period of 10 years.

Officials said the project is expected to boost advanced materials manufacturing in the state while supporting employment and industrial growth.
