New expressway planned in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh government has proposed to construct an eight-lane restricted entry expressway near Dehra on the right bank of the upper Ganga canal at the UP-Uttarkhand border.

The new expressway will be constructed to facilitate traffic movement and to expedite industrial development in the state.

The UP Expressways Industrial Development Authority will be the nodal agency for appointing a consultant and developer for the project.
