NMDC to set up steel plant in Jharkhand.

NMDC, the state-owned iron ore miner, recently said it has incorporated Jharkhand Kolhan Steel, a wholly owned subsidiary company on 29 September for evelopment of steel plant in the state.

In an exchange filing, the company said it will be building the steel facility through the special-purpose-vehicle (SPV) route.
