NLCIL signs MoU with BHEL to develop indigenous technology for Lignite Gasification.

NLC India Ltd., a Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Coal, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with BHEL, a Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Heavy Industries, to develop indigenous technology for Lignite Gasification.

The MoU was signed between NLCIL & BHEL to take-up the study on lignite gasification for IGCC power/ chemicals at New Delhi on 12-10-2022 in the presence of Hon'ble Minister of Coal, Mines and Parliamentary Affairs Shri Pralhad Joshi, Hon'ble Minister of Heavy industries Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey, Member (NITI Aayog) Dr. V. K. Saraswat, Secretary(Coal) Dr. Anil Kumar Jain, Secretary (Heavy Industries) Shri Arun Goel, Addl Secretary(Coal) Shri Vinod Kumar Tiwari, Addl Secretary(Coal) Shri M Nagaraju and other senior officials of the Ministries as well as concerned PSUs.
