NLC Signs MoU with IOC to Accelerate Renewable Energy Development.

NLC India Ltd (NLCIL) and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to form a joint venture for developing renewable energy projects in Tamil Nadu.

The agreement was signed recently in New Delhi by Anurag Mittal, Chief General Manager (Commercial and Business Development) at NLCIL, and Manoj Nanda, Chief General Manager (Alternate Energy) at IOCL.

Under the proposed joint venture, the two public sector companies will collaborate on the development of large-scale renewable energy projects, including solar, wind and hybrid power initiatives in Tamil Nadu.

The partnership is aimed at expanding clean energy capacity and supporting India's transition towards a greener energy mix through the deployment of utility-scale renewable power projects.
