NBCC Stock Surges 10% Following ₹878.17 Crore in New Orders

NBCC Ltd witnessed a 10% surge in its shares on the NSE on Tuesday, propelled by the announcement of new work orders worth ₹878.17 crore.

As per the company’s stock exchange filing, NBCC has secured a ₹700-crore order from Kochi Metro Rail Ltd (KMRL) for the development of 17.4 acres of land in Kakkanad, Ernakulam district, Kochi, and Coine ‘Bliss City’.

Additionally, NBCC has received a ₹99.84-crore order from Oil India Ltd for the construction of a centralised core repository with advanced laboratory facilities in Guwahati, Assam.

Furthermore, the company has been awarded a ₹69.71-crore contract from Hindu College, University of Delhi, for the construction of a boy’s college.

Adding to its list of accomplishments, NBCC has also secured an ₹8.62-crore order for the construction of an office-cum-training institute for the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) in Hyderabad.
