Nayara Energy to Add 400 New Petrol Pumps in Retail Expansion.
Nayara Energy, India's largest private fuel retailer, has announced plans to add 400 new petrol pumps this year as part of its ambitious expansion strategy to strengthen its presence across the country.
With a network of over 6,500 retail outlets, Nayara has been steadily growing in states like Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Rajasthan. In a statement on Sunday, the company said it is "well on track to add 400 retail outlets this year."
As part of its expansion drive, Nayara Energy has revamped its dealer programme to attract new partners, fostering local entrepreneurship. The company is now inviting applications for dealerships across India to open petrol pumps in underserved markets.Nayara operates a 20-million-tonnes-per-year refinery in Vadinar, Gujarat, and recently entered the petrochemical sector with a 450,000-tonnes-per-year polypropylene plant.
"Our fuel stations are strategically located on National Highways and in urban clusters, serving as vital links to marketplaces and fueling the aspirations of a rising India," said Alessandro des Dorides, CEO of Nayara Energy. He emphasized the importance of expanding the company’s fuel retail network in upcoming towns to support India's economic growth.
Nayara Energy is also leveraging technology, including chatbots and artificial intelligence tools, to enhance customer interactions and loyalty programmes. Its fuel stations provide a range of offerings, including high-quality fuels, lubricants, and convenience services, aimed at delivering a superior customer experience.
The company reaffirmed its commitment to being India's trusted energy partner by expanding its footprint and enabling mobility in underserved regions. “Every new fuel station is a step towards nation-building by enhancing connectivity and enabling mobility in remote areas,” the statement added.
With its innovative dealer programme and customer-focused initiatives, Nayara Energy is setting new benchmarks in India’s energy sector, further solidifying its leadership in the private fuel retail space.
