NARCL improves offer for Meenakshi Energy to Rs. 1,003 crore.

National Asset Reconstruction Company (NARCL) has given a revised improved offer for Meenakshi Energy to Rs. 1,003 crore, said two people aware of the insolvency proceedings of the Hyderabad-based thermal power company.

The revised offer from the government-promoted NARCL, made last week, follows a request from the lenders to the company and is 11 per cent higher than its previous offer, the people cited earlier told ET.
