NALCO Inks Agreement with NLC India for Power and Renewable Energy Project.
State-run National Aluminium Company Ltd (NALCO) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with NLC India Ltd (NLCIL) to strengthen collaboration on a 1,080-MW thermal captive power project and renewable energy initiatives.
NALCO, a Navratna central public sector enterprise, said the partnership aims to enhance cooperation in meeting its growing energy needs while advancing clean and sustainable power solutions.
The MoU was signed on Saturday at Mahabalipuram in the presence of Jagdish Arora, Director (Projects & Technical), NALCO, and Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, Chairman and Managing Director of NLCIL, along with other directors of NLCIL.
The agreement is expected to support NALCO’s captive and long-term power requirements, with a strategic focus on renewable energy development and sustainability.
