Nabard to lend Rs. 520-mn for road developments in WB
Kolkata: The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Nabard) has sanctioned Rs 52.15 crore to West Bengal under Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) XIII for creation and improvement of 50.40 km road length in the remote areas of Darjeeling district and improved brick paved-black topped road length of 353.20 km in the Sundarbans region.
The State has been allocated a normative allocation of Rs 570 crore under RIDF-XIII, says a press release. With this, the bank has sanctioned 22,064 projects with RIDF assistance of Rs 4,031.82 crore.
