Medicover Hospitals Targets Significant ₹400 Crore Expansion.
Medicover Hospitals, the Indian arm of European multinational healthcare and diagnostic major Medicover, has finalized plans for a significant ₹400 crore expansion in India. This investment is set to add 1,000 new beds and establish two new hospitals by the end of June 2020.
"The growth will mainly be in setting up two Cancer hospitals in Madhapur, Hyderabad, and Nellore in Andhra Pradesh," stated P Harikrishna, Managing Director of Medicover Hospitals India. "When they turn functional by June next year, along with the incremental changes in other hospitals, the total bed strength of the Group will touch 3,000."
This strategic expansion underscores Medicover Hospitals' commitment to enhancing its presence and healthcare services across India, particularly in specialized fields like oncology.
