"L&T Secures Multiple Orders"
Larsen & Toubro Ltd (L&T) has bagged a series of orders ranging from ₹2,500 crore to ₹5,000 crore, according to the company's recent stock exchange filing. These orders have been garnered by L&T's power transmission and distribution (PT&D) business and encompass projects both domestically and in the Middle East.
Among the significant orders secured is the establishment of a 75MW Floating Solar PV plant on the Panchet Dam. This project forms part of the Ultra Mega Renewable Energy Power Park, which is being developed on Damodar Valley Corporation reservoirs in Jharkhand and West Bengal.
In Saudi Arabia, L&T has received an order for the turnkey construction of a 380kV Substation. Furthermore, the company has won contracts for substation and voltage conversion from hydrocarbon companies in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Additionally, L&T has secured an additional order for the ongoing 220kV Power Supply Project in the UAE.
These developments underscore L&T's continued prowess and strategic expansion in the power sector, both domestically and internationally, reaffirming its position as a leading player in the industry.
