Infrastructure major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) recently announced that its Power Transmission & Distribution vertical has secured 'large' orders for grid infrastructure projects in the Middle East.
As per L&T’s project classification, a 'large' order falls in the range of ₹2,500 crore to ₹5,000 crore.
In a regulatory filing, the company said the projects are part of a 400kV super grid interconnection aimed at linking the electricity networks of GCC member states. L&T noted that this interconnection has significantly improved the efficient utilization of generation capacity and enhanced overall grid resilience across the region.
