Havells India-owned Lloyd on Monday announced it has increased the annual manufacturing capacity of its air-conditioner plants in Ghiloth, Rajasthan, and Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, to 3 million units. The company has invested ₹50–60 crore to expand production at both facilities, responding to rising demand in the segment.
As part of its premium push, Lloyd also launched the Luxuria Collection, a new range of high-end air conditioners designed to cater to the growing demand for luxury cooling solutions in India.
“Lloyd has always been at the forefront of innovation,” said Yogesh Kumar Gupta, Executive Director, Havells India Ltd. “Launching the Luxuria collection is our way of building on last year’s success and responding to the increasing demand for thoughtfully curated cooling solutions. The move toward luxury in air conditioning isn’t just about high-end features; it’s about creating a complete experience.”
The expansion increases capacity at the Ghiloth plant from 9 lakh to 15 lakh units annually, and at the Sri City plant from 11.2 lakh to 15 lakh units.
