KWA to float tenders for new treatment plant.
The establishment of a second water source for the city will gather momentum by next week with the floating of tenders to set up a conventional treatment plant at Malavila, near Maranalloor.

The project, which was hanging fire for quite sometime due to inadequate funds and confusion over the method of treatment to be adopted, would take off with the floating of tenders, an official with the KWA told The Hindu .
