Koraam Wins Order to Deploy 2,933 Solar Pumps in Maharashtra Under Magel Tyala Saur Yojana

Koraam, backed by Kosol Energie, has secured its fourth order from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana (MTSKPY).

The latest Letter of Empanelment covers the installation of 2,933 solar-powered water pumping systems across Maharashtra, further strengthening the company’s footprint in the agricultural solar irrigation segment. Under the contract, Koraam will oversee end-to-end project execution, including design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and post-installation support.

The initiative is aligned with the Government of India’s broader renewable energy push under the PM-KUSUM programme, which aims to promote solar-powered irrigation solutions for farmers. By deploying off-grid solar pumps, the project seeks to reduce dependence on conventional electricity while ensuring reliable water access for agricultural use.

The systems will use Kosol’s 535 Wp and 450 Wp photovoltaic modules, designed for high efficiency and durability in farming conditions. The order marks a key milestone for Koraam, underscoring its expanding role in large-scale renewable energy deployment and sustainable agriculture initiatives across Maharashtra.
