"Kerala Government to Roll Out ₹13,013 Crore Projects in 100 Days, Announces CM"

Kerala's Left Democratic Front government, led by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, has unveiled ambitious plans to implement development projects totaling ₹13,013.40 crore within 100 days, marking its third anniversary in power. The initiative, part of the fourth edition of the 100-day programme, aims to conclude by October 22 with a focus on accelerating various government activities aimed at social progress, sustainable development, and the welfare of the populace.

Chief Minister Vijayan outlined that 1,070 projects spanning across 47 departments are slated for completion under this comprehensive effort. Emphasizing the initiative's commitment to fulfilling election promises and addressing critical areas needing attention, Vijayan highlighted its potential to generate 259,384 job opportunities.

"The programme will encompass the implementation of diverse projects across sectors, including livelihood enhancements and infrastructure development," Vijayan stated. Among the initiatives are the inauguration of new roads and bridges, distribution of 30,000 title deeds statewide, establishment of 456 modernized ration shops, and creation of 37 smart villages.

Furthermore, the government plans to launch a scheme through Karunya community pharmacy to distribute expensive medicines, including those for cancer treatment, at zero profit. Additionally, the Life Mission programme aims to hand over 10,000 individual houses to eligible beneficiaries during the stipulated period.

"The initiative underscores our commitment to comprehensive development and fulfilling our electoral promises to the people of Kerala," Vijayan affirmed, highlighting the government's proactive stance in enhancing public welfare and infrastructure across the state.
