Jupiter Electric Mobility Pvt. Ltd. Granted ARAI Approval for JEM TEZ Production

Jupiter Electric Mobility Pvt. Ltd. (JEM), a subsidiary of Jupiter Wagons Limited, India's leading wagon manufacturing company, has achieved a significant milestone with the approval from The Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), as per Certificate No. AATB 0182 dated May 29th, 2024. This certification marks compliance with the Central Motor Vehicles Rules and signals a pivotal moment for JEM as it prepares to launch commercial production of its innovative Battery Operated Light Commercial Vehicles under the brand name JEM TEZ.

JEM is poised to disrupt the market by introducing the first 1-ton commercial electric vehicle (EV), the JEM TEZ. Engineered for optimal performance and efficiency, the vehicle features state-of-the-art fast charging technology, capable of charging from 0% to 100% in approximately 20 minutes at combined charging stations, making it the fastest in the industry. Moreover, the onboard charger enables full charging in less than 2 hours. With a certified range of 127 kilometers, the JEM TEZ is tailor-made for various commercial applications.

Beyond its impressive technical specifications, the JEM TEZ is equipped with Telematics for real-time monitoring of vehicle health and performance. This feature facilitates prompt diagnosis, maintenance, and support, ensuring fleet reliability and efficiency.
