Japan committed to fund 6 major infrastructure projects

Japan has promised to fund six major infrastructure projects in India.ODA would provide 10,535 crore in development assistance for the six projects for Various phases of the Metro Rail projects in Delhi,Kolkata and Chennai, for first phase of a dedicated freight corridor project of Indian Railways,for Rengali irrigation project in Orissa and also for the Sikkim Biodiversity Conservation and Forest Management Project. The money is expected to flow in during the fiscal year starting April.
