ITC to invest Rs. 3,500 cr in Bengal.

Kolkata-headquartered ITC Ltd has lined up investments worth of Rs. 3,500 crore in West Bengal in at least four projects. According to YC Deveshwar, Chairman, ITC Ltd., 'The projects include setting up of integrated consumer goods facilities, a logistics hub, an IT facility and setting up its second hotel in the city.' Projects will be carried out in Howrah, Dakshineshwar, Rajarhat and Kolkata and work has begun. 'West Bengal has a high share of these projects with an outlay of Rs. 3,500 crore, encouraged by conducive policies of the State,'.
