IRB Infrastructure Signs ₹2,663 Crore Agreements for Two Highway Projects

IRB Infrastructure has entered into project implementation agreements valued at approximately ₹2,663 crore for two highway Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), strengthening its portfolio in India’s road infrastructure sector.

According to exchange-filing-related reports, the agreements cover project implementation obligations for the remaining concession periods of the two highway assets. The development represents another significant step in IRB Infrastructure’s continued involvement in the construction, operation and management of major road projects across the country.

The ₹2,663 crore value highlights the scale of investment associated with maintaining and implementing infrastructure requirements over the balance concession tenure. Highway concession projects typically involve long-term responsibilities covering operations, maintenance and other contractual commitments in accordance with the respective concession agreements.

IRB Infrastructure is one of India’s prominent private-sector participants in the highways segment, with experience across Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT), Toll-Operate-Transfer and other road development models.

The latest agreements come at a time when India continues to expand and modernise its national highway network to improve connectivity, logistics efficiency and regional economic development.
