Indus Towers to invest Rs. 150 cr in West Bengal.

The country’s largest mobile tower company Indus Towers Ltd. is looking to invest Rs. 150 crore in West Bengal over the next one year.

The investment will mostly be towards addition of new sites primarily in the city and other customer acquisition costs.

According to Balaji R, Circle CEO (West Bengal), Indus Ltd., the company has an order book of 300-odd sites mostly inside the city.

Each tower will be coming at a cost of Rs. 15 lakh - Rs. 25 lakh (approximately at a cost of Rs. 60 crore).

'Around Rs. 150 crore will be invested in Bengal which include the setting up of 300-odd towers mostly in the city,' he told reporters on the sidelines of a press conference in the city.
