IHCL's Vivanta Expands Presence in Kochi with New Hotel in Aluva

The Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL), the largest hospitality company, has recently announced the signing of a new Vivanta hotel in Aluva, marking the brand's debut in Kochi. Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President - Real Estate & Development at IHCL, expressed the significance of this development, stating, “This will be our seventh hotel in the city – a testament to the city’s importance. We are delighted to further strengthen our association with KM Abdul Latheef with a second hotel.”

The 95-keys hotel is strategically situated in Aluva, offering convenient access to the airport and nearby leisure spots. The hotel is set to feature an all-day diner and bar, a 4,500 sq ft banquet space, a swimming pool, a gym, and a spa, providing a comprehensive range of amenities for guests.

KM Abdul Latheef, Managing Director of Hotel Pearl Dunes Pvt Ltd., expressed satisfaction in collaborating once again with IHCL, India's hospitality leaders. Latheef stated, "This hotel will offer guests a flavor of the stylish," emphasizing the commitment to delivering a unique and memorable experience.

Kochi, known as the financial, commercial, and cultural capital of Kerala, holds a prominent position as a leading destination for both international and domestic tourists. As the gateway to various popular leisure destinations, the addition of the new Vivanta hotel in Aluva is expected to enhance IHCL's presence in this dynamic city.

With the inclusion of this new property, IHCL will have a total of 18 hotels across its Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta, and Ginger brands in Kerala, including five under development. This expansion reflects IHCL's continued commitment to providing diverse and high-quality hospitality experiences across the region.
