IFC to invest Rs 5,000 crore in India

New Delhi: International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of World Bank group will invest Rs 5,000 crore in India by next fiscal year of July 2009-June 2010.

IFC will invest 50 percent of the funds in infrastructural projects. Besides investing in infrastructure, IFC will also invest in agriculture and rural development.
