Icrisat opens knowledge centre

Hyderabad: The International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) has opened NutriPlus Knowledge Centre at its Agri-Science Park.

Dr William Dar, Director-General of Icrisat, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Mr V Bhaskar Rao, Managing Director of Nandan Biomatrix, to set up the centre.

Under the agreement, Nandan Bio Matrix Ltd would contribute relevant equipment to NutriPlus Knowledge Centre.

It is aimed at pooling up $5.25 million in the next five years to expand the scope of the centre.
