"HUDCO and IIFCL Ink MoU"
Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) and India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited (IIFCL), a wholly-owned Government of India enterprise, have come together in a significant move aimed at strengthening cooperation and collaboration. On June 6, 2024, in New Delhi, the two entities signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the goal of leveraging their respective strengths.
The MoU outlines plans for extending Infrastructure Co-Financing, Refinancing, Project Management Consultancy Services, and Capacity Building activities. These efforts will be undertaken in alignment with the mandates and policies of each organization.
The signing ceremony, held in the presence of senior officials from both entities, saw Shri Sanjay Kulshrestha, CMD of HUDCO, and Dr. Padmanabhan Raja Jaishankar, Managing Director of IIFCL, execute the MoU. Notable attendees included Shri M. Nagaraj, Director (Corporate Planning) of HUDCO, and Shri Pawan K. Kumar, Deputy Managing Director of IIFCL.
This partnership signifies a strategic collaboration between two key players in India's infrastructure landscape, poised to contribute significantly to the nation's development agenda.
