HP plans monorail project for Shimla

HP plans monorail project for Shimla Himachal Pradesh government has proposed an ambitious monorail project for its hill station city Shimla.

The project will cost Rs 5,000 crore and could be funded entirely by the Centre. It will connect downtown Shimla to the suburbs.

The feasibility survey for the project is initiated and expected to complete in 6 months.
