H&M to open two stores in Mumbai this autumn.

Swedish international retailer H&M (Hennes & Mauritz AB) will open two stores in Mumbai this autumn, the company said in a statement. The stores will be located at High Street Phoenix, Lower Parel and Phoenix Marketcity, Kurla.

The H&M stores at High street Phoenix and Phoenix Marketcity will be spread over 30,000 sq.ft. and 37,000 sq.ft. respectively and will be full concept H&M stores offering apparels for men, women, teenagers and children.


'We continue our strong expansion in India with two store openings in strategic locations in Mumbai. At H&M, we see great demand and potential, in all cities alike, and plan to continue delivering fashion and quality at the best price in a sustainable way,' said Janne Einola, country manager at H&M.

In 2016 H&M will be opening stores in Delhi, NCR, Bangalore, Mumbai and Mohali.
