Gwadar Port Operator Selection: DP World in the hit list

Islamabad: All details regarding selection of a suitable private sector firm to operate the Gwadar Port will be submitted to the Prime Minister this week.

Federal Ports and Shipping Minister Babar Khan Ghouri said while talking to a private TV channel.

The Gwadar Port Authority has dispatched Dubai's DP World's name to the Ministry of Ports & Shipping as port operator. All matters being reviewed prior to sending the name to the Prime Minister for final approval, said Ghouri.
