GoM on Sasan to meet on July 2

New Delhi: A meeting of the empowered Group of Ministers (GoM) on the Sasan ultra mega power project, which met for the second consecutive day on Thursday, ended inconclusive. The next meeting is scheduled for July 2. 'We are still discussing the issue. The next meeting is scheduled for July 2,' said Power Minister Mr Sushilkumar Shinde after the meeting. The GoM met to take a decision on whether a Lanco-Globeleq combine, which bagged the project in December, had 'misrepresented facts' while bidding for the project.
