Bengaluru-headquartered apparel exporter Gokaldas Exports Ltd (GEX) announced on Thursday a strategic partnership with BRFL Textiles, a fabric processing company that operates a large single-location plant in Tarapur, Maharashtra. As part of this tie-up, GEX will invest up to Rs 300 crore in BRFL in phases, beginning with an initial Rs 50 crore. Additionally, the companies will consider a potential merger one year from now.
