"Godrej Properties Expands Land Portfolio with Acquisition in Khalapur"

Godrej Properties Limited (GPL) has announced the acquisition of a 90-acre land parcel in Khalapur, Maharashtra, continuing its aggressive expansion strategy. This acquisition follows closely on the heels of securing two plots in Greater Noida through an e-auction just three days earlier.

The latest move highlights GPL’s commitment to broadening its footprint across key Indian markets. The Greater Noida plots are positioned to leverage the growing Delhi-NCR market, benefiting from the area’s strategic location near Delhi, Noida, and the upcoming Jewar airport. In contrast, the Khalapur land acquisition targets the burgeoning Mumbai metropolitan region, located approximately 70 kilometers from the city center.

Gaurav Pandey, MD & CEO of Godrej Properties, commented on the Khalapur acquisition, stating, “Residential plotted development has gained significant traction in recent years. Khalapur is emerging as a promising location.
