Garden Research Shipbuilders & Apollo Micro Systems Strike Deal on Defence Production.

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) and Apollo Micro Systems have signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the research, development, co-production, and export of advanced defence and non-defence technologies. The partnership will focus on Underwater Weapons & Vehicles, Underwater Mines, Underwater Communication Systems, Air Defence Systems, and other advanced weapons and electronic systems.

The collaboration aims to create cutting-edge technologies and improve manufacturing capabilities for producing critical components and sub-assemblies for these systems. Both companies will also work on modernizing and upgrading existing systems to ensure they meet the latest requirements.

This strategic partnership will cater to the growing needs of the Defence, Aerospace, and Commercial sectors, both within India and globally, according to a statement from Apollo Micro Systems. The move is expected to enhance the technological and manufacturing infrastructure of both companies while expanding their reach in key markets.
