GAIL, RailTel Ink MoU to Strengthen Digital Infrastructure.

GAIL (India) Limited announced recently that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with RailTel Corporation of India Limited to collaborate on digital infrastructure development. The agreement was formalized on March 5, 2026.

The MoU was signed by S S Agrawal, Executive Director (O&M-CO) at GAIL, and J S Marwah, CS & GGM (Law) at RailTel, in the presence of Rajeev Kumar Singhal, Director (Business Development) at GAIL, and Sanjai Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director of RailTel.

The partnership will leverage the network infrastructure and technological expertise of both companies to expand digital connectivity across India. RailTel, a public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, operates one of the country’s largest neutral telecom infrastructure networks along railway land.
