GAIL India commissions Dabhol - Bangalore pipeline project.

GAIL India Ltd has commissioned its Rs 4,500 crore 1000 km pipeline carrying gas from Dabhol LNG terminal into Bengaluru.

The pipeline to feed industries in Belgaum, Dharwad, Gadag, Bellary, Davanagere, Chitradurga, Tumkuyr, Ramanagaram and Bengaluru which have been using costlier and polluting liquid fuel like diesel as feedstock. This development will help also help to develop gas based power projects alongside.
