Flipkart Minutes to Open 800 Dark Stores to Boost Quick Commerce Expansion.

Flipkart Minutes, the quick commerce arm of e-commerce giant Flipkart, plans to set up 800 dark stores across India by the end of 2025, according to CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy. The announcement was made during Walmart’s annual Investment Community Meeting.

“We launched our own quick commerce product nine months back with just about 100 stores, and we are already close to 300 stores now. By the end of this year, we will probably get to 800 stores, that’s the vision we have,” Krishnamurthy said.

The expansion comes as Flipkart’s Singapore-based parent company infused ₹3,249 crore (approximately $382 million) into the marketplace business, signaling continued investment in scaling up its rapid delivery capabilities.
