Fichtner gets power project contract from S. Korean firm

Chennai: Chennai-based Fichtner Consulting Engineers (India) has bagged an order from Lotte Engineering and Construction Company of South Korea for providing detailed design engineering and construction management services for 280 MW to 400 MW combined cycle power project coming up at Al-Qatrana, Jordan.

Lotte Engineering and Construction are the EPC contractors for the project. The project is being put up by Korea Electric Power Corporation and Xenel Corporation, which are implementing the project on a build-own-operate basis, according to a press release from Fichtner.
