Essar Projects gets Rs.286 Cr water pipeline contract from Gujarat Govt

Essar Projects said it has won Rs 286 crore contract from the Gujarat government for laying a pipeline system, which is a part of Sardar Sarovar Narmada Canal-based drinking water supply project.

Essar to engineer, procure, construct and commission (EPCC) a 2,300 mm x 51 km water pipeline system.

The project, scheduled for completion in a year, is a part of the ambitious Bulk Water Transmission System Project being implemented by the Gujarat government.

It is one of the eight packages of Sardar Sarovar Narmada Canal-based drinking water supply project, which aims at supplying water to seven districts of Saurashtra, Kachchh region and parts of Ahemdabad, Sabarakantha, Mehsana districts of North Gujarat and Panchmahals
