EMCO gets Rs. 3,250-mn order

Mumbai: Power equipment manufacturer EMCO Ltd has received an order of Rs 325 crore from the Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Co Ltd (MSETCL) for setting up three 400-kV substations on a turnkey basis, according to a press release.

The substations would be set up at Bhusawal, Chakan and Khaparkheda power stations, as Maharashtra Power Generation Co Ltd, the distribution utility, would be adding a power generation capacity of 1,250 MW at these locations.

EMCO's scope involves design, engineering, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of these substations.
