Elgi Equipments to open Brazil subsidiary

Coimbatore: The industrial and screw air compressors manufacturer, Elgi Equipments is setting up a subsidiary at Sao Paolo in Brazil.

The coimbatore-based firm will set up the new venture Elgi Compressores Do Brasil as a 100 per cent subsidiary. It will set up a manufacturing plant and commence its commercial production after 18-24 months.

Presently, Elgi has two overseas subsidiaries - Elgi Gulf FZE at Sharjah, UAE and Elgi Equipments Zhejiang at Jiaxing in China.
