Eastman Auto & Power Harnesses PM Surya Ghar for Rooftop Solar Growth.

Eastman Auto & Power (EAPL) is strategically positioning itself to capitalize on the momentum generated by the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, aiming to significantly expand its rooftop solar business. The company anticipates this government initiative will help double the rooftop solar segment's contribution to its total revenue in FY26, climbing from 20 percent in the last financial year.

EAPL, a specialist in last-mile e-mobility and continuous energy solutions, reported a revenue of ₹4,250 crore in FY25. Looking ahead, the company has set an ambitious revenue target.

"We are working toward an ambitious revenue milestone of ₹6,000–7,000 crore in FY26, fuelled primarily by steep growth in solar rooftop business," Shekhar Singal, Managing Director of Eastman Auto and Power, told businessline. The PM Surya Ghar scheme is expected to be a key driver in achieving this substantial growth.
