Durdans Hospital on expansion mode

Colombo: Durdans Hospital, coming under the umbrella of Ceylon Hospitals PLC (CHPLC) will open the new Durdans Medical and Surgical Hospital located adjacent to Durdans Hospital in the last quarter of 2009, adding impressive force to a rapidly expanding healthcare industry in the country.

Under Phase II of the Group's Development Programme, Durdans Hospital and Sri Lanka's first dedicated cardiac care facility, the Durdans Heart Center are also billed to expand its existing portfolio of available services and infrastructure, adding to capacity, competencies and capabilities. One of the primary objectives of the expansion plan is to tap into the increasing segment of medical tourism seen within the Asian region.
