Divisional Railway Manager Conducts Inspection at Vizianagaram Railway Station

The Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Waltair, Saurabh Prasad, conducted a detailed inspection of Vizianagaram Railway Station, focusing on passenger amenities, maintenance works, and infrastructure development within the Vizianagaram-Visakhapatnam section.

DRM Saurabh Prasad was joined by Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Infra) Sudhir Kumar Gupta and other senior officials from Safety, Signal and Telecom, Commercial, and Civil Engineering departments during the inspection. The DRM carefully examined the progress of several ongoing projects, including the construction of a 12-meter-wide Foot Over Bridge (FOB), designed to facilitate smoother passenger movement, and upgrades to the crew lobby and station building facilities to enhance comfort and convenience for travelers.

Additionally, the DRM inspected Through Formation Treatment works between Dusi and Ponduru, aiming to ensure optimal safety and efficiency along this stretch of the railway line.

As part of his visit, DRM Saurabh Prasad also conducted a window trailing inspection, reviewing safety protocols and assessing ongoing infrastructure projects across the Vizianagaram-Visakhapatnam section. This comprehensive inspection underscores the railway division's commitment to improving passenger experiences and maintaining high safety standards.
