Deep Industries wins oil block in Chattisgarh

Ahmedabad: Deep Industries, a diversified oil and gas company based in Ahmedabad, has won block at Satpura-Rewa in Chattisgarh.

The company had participated in bidding process for blocks under seventh round of New Exploration Licensing Policy (NELP-VII). 'The Company has been successful in getting award of Block No SR-ONN-2005/I at Satpura-Rewa in Chattisgarh,' the company today informed BSE.

The Company had bidded for this block in consortium with Deep Energy LLC, Kanvel Finance Pvt Ltd and Savla Enterprise Pvt Ltd.

The area of the block is 789 sq kms.
