DEC Infrastructure & HG Infra Engineering Emerge as Lowest Bidders for NDLS Revamp.

The long-awaited redevelopment of New Delhi Railway Station has moved a step closer to execution, with the joint venture (JV) of DEC Infrastructure and HG Infra Engineering emerging as the lowest bidder for the project. The JV submitted a bid of ₹2,195 crore, HG Infra announced in an exchange filing rcently.

The Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) opened the financial bids for the project, which will be executed under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) model. The JV comprises a 51% stake by DEC Infrastructure and 49% by HG Infra Engineering.

The New Delhi Railway Station revamp has faced multiple delays, but this development marks a significant step toward its modernization. The project is expected to enhance passenger amenities, improve station infrastructure, and integrate multimodal transport facilities.
